I loaded the bike on my old Jimmy a couple of days before, under the guidance of house Boat Bob.
I was a little apprehensive about loading it, but it was a "piece of cake" as I like to put it.

My first stop was the rest area at Calipatria, no I take that back. My first stop was the doughnut shop in Calipatria for coffee and an apple fritter.

I then went on to Yuma where I fueled up and then went on to Cal & Georgia's place in the Foothills. Joy came down and we all went to Dairy Queen for ice cream. I went to Sheila's for her Happy Hour and met a few friends there that I hadn't seen for a while. I parked my rig in front of Joy's place for the night and then helped her hook up the next morning.
About 10 of us met for breakfast at Foothills Blvd & I-8, and then Joy, Carol Haggard and I left for Pinal County Park.

I think it was all of 150 miles, but it was a nice place to kick back as we weren't in any big hurry. We met Brenda the next morning at Cracker Barrel, and after a nice breakfast and visit we continued on to Roosevelt Lake where we spent the night. The next morning we continued on to Show Low, but about 40 miles out of Payson ,Carol broke down. She called her road service and about 3 hours later the tow truck showed up. It took him about an hour to hook the motorhome on and then we went on to Show Low. Carol went to the shop, and after fueling Joy and I went on to the camp, arriving about 6:30.

I will be here about a month and then will leave the motorhome and pickup here and continue on East with the Harley.

I have been helping Jon Tremellon put up his log cabin. It is starting to look real nice. Yesterday I put up Patricia's water tank, and she arrived late last night.
